We've been busy trying to get our house ready to sell. {NIGHTMARE!} I like my stuff! Packing it away... is not easy for me! Anyway, something that made me smile about it... was the young man that showed up and cleaned my windows for me today! The top windows freak me right out! When I was young and 22... when we first moved into this house, I wasn't scared to hang out the windows and clean. But, now that I'm older (and more wise)... it scares the daylights out of me! So... to have someone else do them for me is WONDERFUL! I love clean windows! My grandma made a comment once, that you can tell how clean a house really is, by how clean the windows are kept. Mmmmm.... so, does that mean my house is well kept now? :) {LOVING CLEAN, SPARKLING WINDOWS}! Thank you, young man!

I came home from a session today and found my little princess, reclined and "relaxing" on the 4-wheeler! It was too cute. Before I could get my camera out and catch her, she was starting to jump off. But... I still got this. She is so stinking cute! I love this little baby girl.

{what this blog is all about...}

I have been inspired by a photographer that I think is out of this World... Suzanne Plant. And, I know she doesn't know me, but she has inspired me in many ways. She has made a goal to photograph about her daily life, every single day. I have decided that this is a challenge I'd like to embark on too.

I live a pretty crazy life. I have {4} children! 1,4,6 &11. I'm constantly on the run with my kids. From football to baseball to piano lessons, school functions, playdates, etc. I top that off with running two of my own businesses and also doing marketing for an orthodontist. So... my life is very full. But, I do have a lot to be grateful for. I'm hoping that this will make me take the time to realize it EVERY.SINGLE.DAY!

I LOVE being a MOM. I remember in 5th grade, our teacher asked us to draw a picture of ourselves in 20 years. I drew myself with 10 children. She asked, "Do you want to be a school teacher?" I said, "No, I want to be a super fun Mom!"

Well, I adore my children. I have to say that I feel guilty every night because I neglect them more than I should to accomplish my busy obligations. I need to take a minute and breathe in those small moments. My children are growing so fast and soon... they'll leave home and I'll wish I'd enjoyed the small thing.

So... follow me in my journey as I try to capture something every day about my life! I challenge you to all do the same. You don't have to be a photogapher to do this. If you are doing this, I'd love to follow you too. So, drop me and email w/ your blog address.

Life is too short to not pause and smile at the small things!
